Transferable Limited Warranty
Terms and limitations

Premium-Stone is the only company that offers a written transferable limited warranty for countertops made of natural stones (granite, marble, onyx, travertine, limestone,
slate and soapstone).  

This warranty is backed by more than 50,000 square feet of countertop installations without any complaints; visit our Better Business Bureau report or our Angie's List site.  

 
You can purchase a limited warranty for a 5, 10, or 15 year duration that covers the owner of the Premium-Stone certified countertop for repair or replacement of the defective product permanently installed in the owner’s home.  

This warranty is transferable to the next new owner if the home is sold during the warranty period. Any subsequent transfers of ownership of the home after the initial transfer of the warranty are void.

For the time contracted (5, 10 or 15 years) , this transferable limited warranty covers the Premium-Stone certified countertop that were preserved according to the guidelines provided by Premium-Stone in its web site and has been registered during the 60 days after the day of installation.

If you are not a Premium-Stone customer, please follow the four steps shown in the  diagram below to Certify your countertop.

To make a warranty claim the owner must provide proof that the countertop is a Premium-Stone certified countertop and must present the Warranty Certificate to obtain service

What this Transferable Limited Warranty does not cover:

This transferable limited warranty does not cover color variances, thermal shock, chemical abuse, impact damages, misuse or improper fabrication.

This transferable limited warranty does not cover any repair or modification.  For example, any plumbing, electrical, tile or wall surface adjustments that may be necessary to repair or replace the countertop covered under this limited warranty, such other repairs or changes shall be the responsibility of the owner. 

Also, this transferable limited warranty does not cover uses of countertop exposed to outside weather or climate conditions, abnormal use or abuse in any way, damage from excessive heat or uneven exposure to climate, exposure to ultraviolet light, physical or chemical abuse or damage from improper care and maintenance. This warranty does not cover seam performance.

This warranty does not cover the damage or injury caused in whole or in part by acts of God, job site conditions, architectural and engineering design, structural movement, acts of vandalism, or accident.

This transferable limited warranty does not cover products that have not been paid for in full.

This transferable limited warranty does not cover products that you, the customer decide you do not like after installation due to color, edging styles or other opinions based on personal preference.

To receive service under this Transferable Limited Warranty, you must allow Premium-Stone personnel to inspect your countertop.  You must reasonably cooperate with the Premium-Stone representative in the efforts to service this warranty.

Except as provided in warranty, Premium-Stone shall not be liable in either tort or contract for any loss of direct, consequential or incidental damages arising out of the use or inability to use the product in residential applications covered by this warranty
